Jessica Stackpool (she, her, hers) is organized, detail-oriented, and highly ethical Clinical Mental Health Counselor with a Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health counseling, LPC. She is highly knowledgeable in mental health issues, behavioral therapy, patient relations, gender studies, and therapeutic intervention and treatment. Jessica is adept at collaborating with colleagues and patients. Jessica received her Bachelor of Arts, in Women’s Studies from the Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2015. She believes that therapists and patients are partners in the therapeutic process. As a counselor, Jessica believes in the rights of clients to confidentiality, transparency and respect for a client’s culture, values, and beliefs. She will work hard to build and maintain a relationship with clients that insures a safe and secure environment. Therapy is a place to reveal and examine unsuccessful patterns and a place to create a new cycle. She believes in looking at the wholeness of a person, and that it is important to understand the fullness of someone’s life. As a therapist, Jessica fully believes that communication is key to understanding. She believes that understanding ourselves, as well as those people who color our world, is imperative to a healthier life. Jessica offers goal orientated, focused, strategic interventions, designed to give a client a sense of control while meeting tangible goals. She believes that change can happen in real time, and that relief from crisis or conflict can be found.
Jessica is a Colorado native, currently residing in Evergreen with her husband and four children. They have a small farm with chickens, goats, and other animals. In her free time, she enjoys running and volunteering and is currently a member of two non-profit boards that support the small community in which she lives.
